What Factors Determine An Over Legal Load?

There are many factors that can determine if freight is Over-Sized (Super Load) that will need special handling. Usually, the factors entail the following:

• Loaded height that exceeds state or provincial guidelines - generally over 13'6"(4.11 meters)
• Loaded width that exceeds 8'6" (2.59 meters)
• Overall loaded, including truck and trailer, length exceeds 72' (22 meters)
• Overall weight, Including load and transport equipment, exceeds 80,000 lbs. (36,250 kilograms)
• Other factors may also put yopur load into a non-legal load.
